Who you're agreeing with

Tad is provided by Matthew Scott (sole trader), trading as heytad, part of microventures. By using Tad you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over, or have permission to bind the organisation you use Tad for.

The service

Tad is a to-do app that pairs each task with a small next action, with optional AI suggestions. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it while your subscription is active. AI suggestions can be wrong; check them before relying on them. Tad is not medical or professional advice.

Your account and content

Keep your login details safe and your information accurate. You own what you write. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Tad to you.

Fair use

Don't use Tad unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe others' rights, to upload malware, or to probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or overload the service.

Ownership

We own Tad, including its software, design and branding.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal and cancellation are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Tad is sold as a yearly subscription that renews automatically at the standard yearly price unless you cancel before renewal. The founding price, while available, applies to your first year only and is limited to the first 25 customers. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Availability

We work hard to keep Tad running but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Tad is provided without implied warranties, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close accounts for serious or repeated breaches, non-payment, or security and fraud risks. You can stop using Tad at any time. When an account closes, its data is deleted as described in our Privacy Notice.
